When you think of burlesque, you often think of the cheesy version that’s become super-mainstream. But when you think about burlesque at the Harvard and Stone, you need to push that mainstream vision right out of your head.

While a band of gruff looking blokes plays rock jams, you might see some ridiculously hot girls dancing on the bar or on scaffolding in this dimly lit place – but instead of being all tassels and giggles, they’ll be in tied-up flannel shirts, ripped stockings and bandannas. In short, the burlesque dancers here are hot and not to be messed with.

Dancers aside, the Harvard and Stone is a pretty cool spot – it’s full of a mixture of preppies and hairy hipsters, and they’ll just as happily serve you a pint as they will mix you a martini.

But, can we get back to the dancers now?
