Kicking off her month long residency, this lovely lady opened up her set with “If Love’s A Gun”, also the title of her EP and definitely a song I’ll be playing on loop. A surf pop melody that makes me want to shoop shoop. Tuesday’s impressive set included harmonies, a trumpet and saxophone player (hello nurse!), which blew me away. Her rendition of “Me & Mr. Jones” made me feel…nostalgic somehow. Definitely will be listening in and looking forward to future performances.
